Terms of Service

Service provider: Hahoowa Medias Services LLC, registered in Wyoming (United States), with subsidiary Hahoowa Medias Services SARL AU (Casablanca, Morocco). Together "Hahoowa", "we", "us".

1. What Hahoowa is

Hahoowa is a bulletin-board platform: a service that allows users to publish classified listings, discover content, and connect with each other. Hahoowa is not a party to the transactions that may follow between users.

By using Hahoowa, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Hahoowa does not buy, sell, or transfer ownership of any goods or services listed on the platform.
  • Hahoowa does not process or hold payments related to user-to-user transactions.
  • Hahoowa does not provide shipping, escrow, refunds, or any form of buyer protection for those transactions.
  • Hahoowa does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, quality, or authenticity of any listing.

The full transaction — including payment, delivery, exchange, returns, and any after-sale interaction — is the sole responsibility of the users involved.

2. What we sell directly

Hahoowa monetizes only the following services that we provide to users:

  • Hahoowa Pro subscription — monthly recurring access to premium features (AI video generation, no watermark, premium voices/avatars).
  • AI credit packs — one-shot purchases of AI video generation credits.
  • Sponsored placements / boosts — paid visibility for listings.
  • Future paid features as announced.

These are billed in your selected display currency through Stripe. Refund policies for these services are described in section 8.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Hahoowa, and at least 18 years old to use any paid feature or to publish a listing in a category restricted to adults (e.g. vehicles, real estate). By creating an account you represent that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide about yourself, including identity, contact details, and country of residence.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Hahoowa to:

  • Publish listings for illegal goods or services (weapons, drugs, stolen property, counterfeit items, endangered species, etc.).
  • Engage in fraud, scams, or deceptive practices.
  • Harass, defame, threaten, or impersonate other users.
  • Spam other users or the platform.
  • Attempt to circumvent moderation, security, or payment systems.
  • Use Hahoowa for any commercial activity that violates the laws of your country of residence or the country of your counterparty.

5. User content & moderation

You retain ownership of the content you publish (photos, descriptions, videos). By publishing, you grant Hahoowa a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and adapt the content as necessary to operate the platform.

Hahoowa moderates content on a best-effort basis, using both automated and human review. We may remove or restrict any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, without prior notice.

You have the right to challenge a moderation decision via our notice-and-action mechanism (see section 11).

6. Account security

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

7. AI-generated content

Hahoowa offers tools to generate video reels using third-party AI providers (e.g. HeyGen). When you use these tools:

  • You are responsible for the brief / script you provide.
  • You may not generate content depicting real people without their consent, nor content that infringes intellectual property rights.
  • You retain ownership of the generated output; Hahoowa retains a license to host and display it on the platform.
  • AI generations are non-refundable once completed (the third-party provider bills us irreversibly).

8. Refunds for Hahoowa services

  • Subscription: you may cancel at any time. The subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period; no pro-rata refund is issued. Already-consumed quota is not refunded.
  • AI credits: unconsumed credits are refundable upon request within 14 days of purchase. Consumed credits are not refundable.
  • Promo boosts / ads: refundable only if the campaign was not delivered due to a Hahoowa technical failure.

9. Suspension & termination

Hahoowa may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

You may close your account at any time via Account → Settings. Closing your account does not erase content that has been shared with other users; see our Privacy Policy for data deletion rights.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Hahoowa is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.
  • Hahoowa is not liable for losses arising from transactions between users, including fraud, non-delivery, defective goods, or disputes.
  • Hahoowa's total liability for any direct damages arising from our paid services is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (e.g. mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction).

11. Notice-and-action (illegal content reporting)

If you believe a listing or piece of content on Hahoowa is illegal, you can submit a notice via the Report button on the content, or by emailing legal@hahoowa.app. Your notice should include:

  • A description of the content and its location (URL or listing ID)
  • The reason it is allegedly illegal
  • Your contact details

We will acknowledge receipt within 48 hours and provide a decision within 7 business days for most cases (longer for complex cases). You may challenge our decision via the same channel.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the State of Wyoming, United States, with mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence applying where stricter.

Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Wyoming, except where mandatory law grants you the right to sue in your country of residence.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are notified in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Hahoowa after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
