Data Deletion

Hahoowa lets you delete your account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, including for users who signed in with Facebook.
Delete your account from the app
- Sign in to Hahoowa.
- Go to Account (Compte) in the sidebar.
- Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete my account.
- Confirm. Your profile, listings, messages, and personal data are removed. Some records may be retained for a limited period where required by law (e.g. transaction records for accounting and fraud prevention).
Request deletion by email
If you can't access your account, email hahoowa.ms@gmail.com from the address linked to your account with the subject "Data deletion request". We process verified requests within 30 days.
Facebook Login users
If you signed in with Facebook, you can trigger deletion in two ways:
- From Facebook: go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, select Hahoowa, and choose Remove. Facebook notifies us and we delete the data tied to your Facebook login.
- From Hahoowa or by email: use either method above.
When Facebook notifies us, we record the request and return a confirmation code. You can check the status of a request at:

What gets deleted
- Profile (name, avatar, bio, contact details)
- Listings, posts, reels, stories you created
- Messages and conversations
- Preferences and notification settings
What may be retained
- Minimal transaction/billing records required by law
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics that can no longer identify you
